Audiences have said that the play's a unique and very important celebration of men and of the phallus. That our play is new and stands on firmer ground than The Vagina Monologues, in that Penis' Responses cares about balancing the gender gap and improving communications between the sexes.
Sex therapist Dr. Love wants to share his stories about men's sexual adventures and misadventures. QueenbeeEve ("Eve Ensler" unleashed) just doesn't think this is necessary. A new modern day epic of the battle of the sexes rages before our eyes. Funny and poignant, erotic and very sexy, men get their say in this piece.
The show, scheduled to run through mid-March has been extended to an open run. Wednesday and Thursday shows are at 8 p.m. with tickets at $30, Friday's show is at 10 p.m. with tickets at $33, Saturday's show is at 5 p.m. with tickets at $28 and Sunday's show is at 3 p.m. with tickets at $28. Dr. Dean Dauw and Jane Doe are the playwrights. Anthony Urgo and Liz Locke currently star.
